My first game in Godot for the November #weeksauce jam.

Avoid all fish and obstacles. Some can attack you like the Barracuda . Oxygen from your diver's lungs will run out, but can be replenished by scaring blowfish or in a bubble stream from the Barracuda.

If you make it further down, the background darkens and the bubbles audio fades...

How deep can you go!!

Thought this was a fun way of implementing the theme, and the game feels quite polished for the timeframe too. Furthest I've managed to get so far is 101m.

This is a great made-in-a-week game, and I can see how you could totally add more features to it: aquatic creatures, sunken galleons, treasures, caves… it could have levels too, so after reaching certain depths there are places where you can "rest", recharge oxygen completely, and upgrade… tons of possibilities!

Anyway, thanks for trying out our game jam, and hope to see you back doing more games with us.
